Paul is the Director of Patient Access

and has been with St Elizabeth for almost 7 years.

Do you have any hobbies?

  • Spending time with my family, reading, and running.

Do you have any kids and/or pets?

  • Two boys. Gavin and Benjamin. We have two dogs: Goldie and Porter and a cat named Wednesday.

Do you have any secret talents?

  • I can juggle and ride the unicycle although not at the same time. The circus may be my second calling after healthcare.

Do you have a favorite quote/advice that you live by?

  • The Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

If you had a day off to do whatever you wanted, what would you do?

  • Sleep? I'd go for a run or get in some form of exercise in the morning, enjoy a relaxing breakfast, take in a movie either in a theater or at home and sit outside and read. Nothing too crazy.

Tell us a funny or favorite story from your childhood.

  • A favorite memory from my childhood were the many Christmas weeks spent down on Sanibel Island. I loved collecting shells on the beach, playing tennis, riding bikes and then mopeds at a later age and celebrating Christmas surrounded by palm trees.

Would you Rather?

Would you rather go into the past or go into the future?

  • I’d rather go into the past. Venturing into the unknown of the future would be a little too terrifying for me. I’d rather visit prior years I already had familiarity with along with visiting famous places, people etc.

Would you rather be the richest person in the world or the smartest person in the world?

  • I’d rather be the smartest. I’d value intelligence over money any day.

Would you rather have a dog with a cat’s personality or a cat with a dog’s personality?

  • I’d go for a cat with a dog’s personality. I had a cat like that in college that would be waiting at the door when I got back home and would also follow me around the house.

Would you rather watch nothing but Hallmark Christmas Movies or nothing but horror movies?

  • I would watch horror movies all day. I’m sure it would take a mental toll after a while but I’d rather opt for horror over Hallmark Christmas movies.
