Do you have any hobbies?

  • Gardening, landscaping, DIY projects

Do you have any kids and/or pets?

  • I have two boys, Cody (25) and Gabriel (20).

Do you have any secret talents?

  • I can intertwine all of my toes together.

Do you have a favorite quote/advice that you live by?

  • “Your best life will not be found in comfort. It will be found in fighting for what you believe in.” Maxine Lagace

If you had a day off to do whatever you wanted, what would you do?

  • I would find something to do outside like lay by a pool, go for a hike, do some landscaping.

Tell us a funny or favorite story from your childhood.

  • I am an avid reader and often have a couple books going at once. When I was young, my mom used to take me and my brothers to the bookstore. There was a small bookstore somewhere near Mt Healthy that was jam-packed with any kind of book you could want. I remember walking in the store and being amazed by all of them. There were so many to choose from and I loved the way the bookstore smelled. A couple of years ago, I traveled to Sanibel Island and visited their bookstore. It was quite similar to the bookstore of my youth and I loved every inch of it. Maybe if you’re ever down that way on vacation, stop by their bookstore and have a look yourself!

Would you Rather?

Would you rather go into the past or go into the future?

  • I’d rather go into the past. Go back to my thirties where exercise didn’t hurt as much, losing weight was fairly easy, no hot flashes and I hadn’t lived through the teenage years with head-strong boys! To go back into the past with the knowledge I have now, I believe I would definitely make better decisions.

Would you rather have more time or more money?

  • I would rather have more money than time. More money would offer a little more freedom to travel and buy more sandals!

Would you rather be able to talk with the animals or speak all foreign languages?

  • I would rather be able to speak all foreign languages. It would be wonderful to connect with people in a language that is familiar and comfortable to them. And traveling to a foreign country would be so much easier if you understood the language. Besides, one of the most pleasing things about animals is they can’t talk back or yell at you and they just love you no matter what. I wouldn’t want to lose that.

Would you rather watch nothing but Hallmark Christmas Movies or nothing but horror movies?

  • I think I would rather watch Hallmark Christmas movies than horror movies. I know I would lose a few brain cells by watching the Hallmark movies since the plot line and acting are so simple but at least there is always a happy ending. Watching horror movies where someone bleeds out or gets chopped up by an ax is a little too much for me.
